Overview & Highlights

The village of Bir, situated at an elevation of 1,400 meters in Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district, is renowned worldwide as a premier paragliding destination. The take-off point at Billing, located 14 kilometers up a winding road and 1,000 meters higher, hosts major competitive events each year, including rounds of the Paragliding World Cup, most recently in 2015. Experienced paragliders can soar as far as Dharamshala, Mandi, and Manali from this remarkable site.

Bir is also a significant hub for the Tibetan exile community. The lower part of the village is known as the Tibetan Colony, featuring several Buddhist monasteries and institutes. These attract many visitors from abroad who come for courses and retreats, making Bir a vibrant blend of adventure and spirituality.

Itinerary

  • Start from Delhi in evening on Day 0.
  • Reach Bir by next morning.

  • Reach Bir by morning.
  • After having breakfast, set yourself up for the FLY of your Life.
  • Visit, Bir Local market for some shopping and explore some of the local restaurants/cafe for some Tibetan cuisine.
  • You can rent mountain biking(not included in the package) to explore the monasteries.
  • Dinner at Bonfire and overnight stay in Bir.

  • After early morning breakfast, check out of our campsite where we'll hike towards the Gunehar waterfall which is a sparkling waterfall hidden in the hills.
  • After having lunch & some chillin, we'll board a bus to Delhi for an overnight journey.

  • Reach Delhi by morning with amazing trip memories.

Inclusions

  • Entire travel as per the itinerary. (From Delhi to Bir & Bir to Delhi it will be in Semi-sleeper Volvo & for the internal transfer it will be in Sumo/Tempo).
  • 3 meals will be provided throughout the trip. 2 meal on Day 1 (Breakfast + Dinner) + 1 meals on Day 2 (Breakfast)
  • Accommodation in Swiss camps/Hotel at Bir.
  • Paragliding cost from Billing to Bir.
  • Team captain throughout the trip.
  • Driver night charges, toll tax, parking charges.

Exclusions

  • GST (5%) is applicable extra.
  • Anything not mentioned in the inclusions.
  • Glider’s tip or charges for Video/photos while paragliding.
  • Any other costing involved due to any kind of natural calamity, forced circumstances which are out of our control.
