Chopta is a picturesque gem along the Ukhimath-Chamoli road, connecting Kedarnath to Badrinath through a stunningly scenic route. Located 35 km from Ukhimath, this tranquil spot features a narrow, forested mountain road and is one of the quaintest places you'll encounter on your journey. Here, the beautiful bugyals (meadows) peek through towering trees, framed by the distant snowy peaks. Chopta serves as the starting point for a 5 km trek to Chandrashila Peak and Tungnath, one of the Panch Kedar temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, alongside Kedarnath, Rudranath, Madmaheshwar, and Kalpeshwar.

Itinerary

  • Depart from Delhi at 9 PM
  • Pit stop at Devprayag to witness the stunning confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers
  • Arrive in Chopta by noon

  • Arrive in Chopta by noon and check in to your accommodation
  • Freshen up and relax amidst nature
  • Option to take an acclimatization walk
  • Enjoy dinner and overnight stay

  • Wake up early to witness a stunning sunrise
  • Enjoy a hearty breakfast
  • Begin your trek to Tungnath
  • Arrive at Tungnath and pay your respects at the highest abode of Lord Shiva
  • Refresh yourself before heading to the breathtaking Chandrashila Peak (weather permitting)
  • Return to your accommodation by evening for dinner and an overnight stay

  • Wake up to another beautiful morning and enjoy breakfast
  • After breakfast, head to Sari Village, the starting point of the Deoria Tal trek
  • Begin your trek to the stunning Deoria Tal
  • Arrive at Deoria Tal and take in the breathtaking views
  • Trek back to Sari Village and prepare for your departure to Delhi
  • Arrive in Delhi the next morning by 6 AM (tentatively)

  • Reach Delhi by morning with amazing trip memories.

Inclusions

  • Entire travel as per the itinerary by Tempo Traveler.
  • 5 meals will be provided throughout the trip. 2 meals (day 1) + 2 meals (day 2) + 1 meal (day 3)
  • Accommodation for 2 nights in Chopta.
  • Refreshment for the trek.
  • Team captain throughout the trip.
  • Driver charges, toll tax, parking etc.

Exclusions

  • GST (5%) is applicable extra.
  • Any other Food and Beverage charge that is not included in the package.
  • Any permit or entry tickets to viewpoints.
