Your itinerary includes a visit to iconic spots like Tiger Hill, Batasia Loop, the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, and the serene Japanese Peace Pagoda. You’ll also have the chance to explore the tranquil Mirik Lake, with its boating and horse-riding options. Each day offers a mix of sightseeing, leisure, and opportunities to soak in the natural beauty that makes Darjeeling and its surrounding areas so enchanting.

Itinerary

  • Our representative will meet you at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), Bagdogra Airport (IXB), or Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) for a smooth transfer to Darjeeling.
  • Enjoy a scenic 105 km drive (2.5-3 hours) to Darjeeling, located at an elevation of 2123 meters (7001 feet), offering stunning views of tea gardens and Mount Everest.
  • Check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure, exploring Mall Road or local shopping centers.
  • Relax and enjoy an overnight stay in Darjeeling, also home to the famous Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR).

  • Start the day early with a visit to Tiger Hill at 4:00 AM (subject to token availability). If not possible during sunrise, it will be covered later in the day.
  • Return to the hotel for breakfast, then proceed to visit the Batasia Loop, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, and the Ropeway (tickets at own cost).
  • Explore the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays), Tea Garden (outer view), and the Japanese Temple (Peace Pagoda).
  • Enjoy the evening at leisure, either shopping or relaxing.
  • Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

  • After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Mirik, located 60 kilometers away (1.5 - 2 hours), with occasional stops for photography along the way.
  • Enjoy a full-day excursion to Mirik Lake, where you can indulge in horse riding and boating around the picturesque high-altitude lake.
  • After the excursion, return to Darjeeling and spend the evening at leisure, exploring your hotel/resort, Mall Road, or the local market area.
  • Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

  • After breakfast, transfer to Siliguri/New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), Bagdogra Airport (IXB), or Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction).
  • Enjoy a 105 km drive (3.5 - 4 hours) for your onward journey.
