Since the Beatles visited Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's ashram in the late '60s, Rishikesh has become a hub for spiritual seekers. Now known as the "Yoga Capital of the World," it boasts numerous ashrams and a variety of yoga and meditation classes. The main action is north of the town, where the stunning setting along the fast-flowing Ganges River, surrounded by lush hills, provides an ideal atmosphere for meditation and personal growth. However, Rishikesh isn’t just about spirituality; it’s also a popular destination for white-water rafting, backpackers, and trekking in the Himalayas.

Perched 2 kilometers high, the "Queen of Hill Stations" competes with Nainital as one of Uttarakhand's top holiday spots. When the mist lifts, the views of the lush Doon Valley and the snow-capped Himalayan peaks are breathtaking. During the hot months, the cooler temperatures and fresh mountain air offer a refreshing escape from the heat of the plains below.

Itinerary

  • Depart early in the morning from Delhi to Rishikesh.
  • Arrive in Rishikesh and check in to your hotel.
  • After freshening up, enjoy lunch.
  • In the evening, participate in the famous Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan.
  • Have dinner and enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

  • After breakfast, choose between bungee jumping or local sightseeing in Rishikesh.
  • In the evening, check in to the campsite and enjoy evening snacks around a bonfire.
  • Have dinner and spend the night at the campsite.

  • After breakfast and check-out, prepare for an unforgettable experience of white-water river rafting.
  • Depart for Mussoorie after the rafting adventure.
  • Arrive in Mussoorie and check in to your hotel.
  • Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

  • After breakfast, depart for Kempty Falls, located 15 km from Mussoorie, known for being the largest and most captivating waterfall.
  • Return to Mussoorie for dinner and enjoy some leisure time at Gun Hill Point and nearby attractions.
  • Depart from Mussoorie to Delhi in the late evening.
  • Overnight transfer to Delhi.
