The trip begins with a local sightseeing tour of Srinagar, followed by a visit to Kargil, famous for its role in the India-Pakistan war. From there, the journey proceeds towards Leh, the capital city of Ladakh, where you will explore popular attractions like Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Magnetic Hill, and Sangam.

The tour then takes you to Nubra Valley, a picturesque region known for its sand dunes and lush greenery. You will also visit Turtuk, a remote village located close to the Pakistan border that has recently been opened to tourists. From there, the journey continues to Pangong Tso, a serene high-altitude lake that changes color throughout the day, before heading back to Leh.

Itinerary

  • Arrive at Srinagar Airport and proceed to the houseboat.
  • Upon arrival at the houseboat, you’ll be warmly greeted by our team captain.
  • Check-in to the houseboat, freshen up, and unwind. You can enjoy a serene Shikara ride on the Dal Lake.
  • Take some time to explore the vibrant Srinagar market for some local shopping.
  • A briefing for the next day's adventure will be provided, followed by a restful overnight stay.

  • Wake up early in the morning and enjoy a hearty breakfast before departing for Kargil [2700m].
  • On your way, you’ll cross the beautiful Sonamarg, a scenic valley.
  • Next, drive towards Drass, known as the coldest inhabited place in India and often referred to as the Gateway to Ladakh, via the Zoji La Pass [3528m].
  • After a lunch break, continue your journey to Kargil.
  • Arrive at Kargil in the evening and check in to your hotel for a restful night.

  • Wake up early in the morning and after breakfast, begin your journey to Leh [3500m].
  • Drive from Kargil to Lamayuru, passing through Mulbek, Namika La [3700m], and Fotu La [4108m].
  • From Lamayuru, Leh is about 125 km away, taking you through the scenic Hangroo Loops and Nimmu.
  • Arrive in Leh by evening and check in to your hotel.
  • Enjoy dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

  • After breakfast in the morning, begin your journey to Nubra Valley via Khardung-La (one of the highest motorable roads at 5359m).
  • En route, stop to visit the Shanti Stupa before continuing your journey to Nubra Valley [3000m].
  • Nubra Valley, also known as Ldorma or the Valley of Flowers, is located between the Karakoram and Ladakh mountain ranges.
  • Check in to your hotel, then head out to explore the Sand Dunes at Hunder, the cold deserts of India. Don't miss the opportunity to take a camel safari (self-paid).
  • Next, visit Diskit village and its famous Monastery.
  • Return to the hotel by evening, enjoy a delicious dinner, and relax for the night.

  • Wake up to a beautiful sunrise and enjoy a hearty breakfast.
  • After breakfast, depart for Turtuk [2820m], a remote village home to about 4,000 residents, predominantly ethnic Muslims.
  • Spend some time exploring the pristine landscapes and unique culture of Turtuk Village.
  • Return to Diskit by evening.

  • After breakfast, check out and begin your journey towards the famous Pangong Tso [4350m] via the Agam and Shyok villages.
  • Pangong Tso, one of the most breathtaking lakes in Asia, is known for changing its color 4-5 times a day.
  • Pangong Lake, or "Lake of the Great Hollow," is the world’s highest saltwater lake.
  • At an altitude of 4300 meters, the air remains cool even in summer. The lake spans about 4 km in width and stretches over 136 km in length, covering around 250 square miles (400 sq. km).
  • Upon arrival at Pangong Lake, check in to the campsite.
  • Enjoy a delicious dinner and sleep overnight, soaking in the serene beauty of the surroundings.

  • Wake up early in the morning to witness a mesmerizing sunrise.
  • After breakfast, begin your journey back to Leh.
  • On the way, make a stop at Chang-La, one of the highest motorable roads in the world, at an altitude of 5350 meters.
  • Arrive in Leh by evening and take some time to explore the local markets and cafes, as it will be your last day in the city.

  • Begin your journey across the Leh-Manali highway, heading towards one of the most scenic routes in India.
  • The first highlight of the day will be the 35 km long flat and straight road at Moore Plains, offering breathtaking views.
  • After lunch at Pang, you'll tackle two challenging passes: Lachung La (5065m) and Nakee La (4739m).
  • Before reaching Sarchu, you’ll experience the thrilling Gata Loops – 21 hairpin bends at an altitude of 4669m.
  • Arrive in Sarchu and check into the camps for the night.
  • End your day with a delicious dinner, and fall asleep under a sky filled with a million stars.

  • Wake up early and get ready for a long yet thrilling ride after breakfast.
  • Drive over Baralacha-La (4892m), one of the most challenging passes on the Leh-Manali Highway, offering stunning panoramic views.
  • At the top of Baralacha-La, make a stop to see the serene Suraj Tal lake.
  • Continue your journey through Zingzing Bar, Patsio, and Darcha as you make your way to Manali.
  • Arrive in Manali, check in to the hotel, and relax.

  • Spare wheels will be carried in case of puncture so that you don't have to wait.

Exclusions

  • GST (5%) is applicable extra.
  • Any kind of food or beverage that is not included in the package like alcoholic drinks, mineral water, meals/refreshments/lunches on the highway.
  • Any personal expenses like a tip to the drivers, entry to monuments/monasteries, camera/video camera charges, camel safari, river rafting, laundry, telephone bills, tips, etc
  • Any cost arising due to natural calamities like landslides, roadblocks etc. (to be borne directly by the customer on the spot)
  • In case of any damage to the riding gears the customer is liable to pay for the damage.
  • Any damage to the bike except engine damage must be borne by the client.
  • Any medical or evacuation expenses.
  • Anything not mentioned in the inclusions.
  • Volvo Transfers are not included for Self Bike option.
  • Airport pick-up and drop not inlcuded.
