Renowned for housing the highest population of tigers among India’s national parks, Corbett National Park is celebrated for its breathtaking landscapes, featuring dense jungles, grasslands, riverine areas, and hilly terrain. This diverse ecosystem supports a rich array of wildlife, including elephants, deer, primates, reptiles, birds, as well as leopards, Himalayan black bears, and sloth bears. The park is divided into six distinct zones, each offering unique experiences, with Dhikala being the most popular for wildlife spotting. Note that most of the park is closed during the rainy season (typically mid-November to mid-June), leaving only a few zones accessible year-round.

Nainital, nestled around a deep green volcanic lake, is the largest town in Kumaon and a favored hill resort. It sprawls across a steep, forested valley surrounding the picturesque Naini Lake.

Itinerary

  • Start your day with an early morning departure from Delhi to Jim Corbett.
  • Upon arrival, check in to your resort and freshen up before enjoying lunch on-site.
  • In the evening, embark on a nature walk to explore the area, then return to the resort.
  • Savor your dinner and enjoy an overnight stay at the resort.

  • Wake up early for an exciting morning safari.
  • Return to the resort for breakfast, then check out and prepare for your departure to Nainital.
  • Upon arrival, check in to your hotel.
  • After some leisure time, feel free to explore the bustling Mall Road.

  • After breakfast, prepare to explore nearby attractions in Nainital, starting with Bhimtal, a scenic lake perfect for boating.
  • Following lunch, head to Sattal, a stunning cluster of seven interconnected freshwater lakes.
  • Return to Nainital and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
  • Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Nainital.

  • After breakfast and check-out, visit Naini Lake, Naini Temple, and the nearby caves.
  • After lunch, depart for Delhi.
  • Enjoy an overnight journey and arrive in Delhi the following morning.
